Introduction to the Lantern Festival

In 2023, the Taoyuan
Lantern Festival will be held in Fugang, Yangmei for the first time. The
exhibition areas include Fugang Sports Park, Bogonggang Park, Minsheng Pond,
Fugang Railway Station and the surrounding areas. This year’s lantern festival
is created with the concept of amusement park. The main lantern “FUTU Future
Rabbit” is a dynamic show, and you can ride the “Train of Time” through the
lantern display areas. Also, you can try your luck in the New Year at the “Big
Three” and “Happy Eight” lanterns, and there are several groups of Hakka
lanterns that incorporate Hakka, railway, tea leaves and other local imagery to
light up the Fugang village together! You are more than welcome to take the
train to enjoy the lantern festival!
